This design was created by John Henry Dearle in 1899 for Morris & Co. The design features entwined lily stems and tendrils, was one of the firm's most popular and has rarely been out of print. It was designed three years after the death of William Morris, and it is a classic example of the Arts & Crafts movement. characterized by its flowing lines and stylized organic motifs. The design features a complex arrangement of tulips and fritillaries, creating a rich and intricate composition.
