Émile Bernard painted an artwork in 1897 titled "Spanish Street Musician and his Family" (also referred to as "Spanish beggars"), which depicts Spanish musicians. He was a French Post-Impressionist painter known for work with Cloisonnism and Synthetism, developing artistic theories and friendships with fellow artists like Van Gogh and Gauguin, though the painting is less known than his earlier works.
